Tasha-Nicole Terani, widely known by the initials TNT, has built a career that spans multiple industries and disciplines. Her career, from a teenage model to an eight-time Guinness World Record holder in soccer ball control, and most recently to an award-winning author, outlines a capacity for reinvention that has earned her the nickname “The Alchemist” among acquaintances.
Over the years, she has combined sport, philanthropy, and literature into a versatile professional life. Terani was born in Tehran, Iran, and later moved to the United States, where she grew up in Westlake Village, California. At the age of 14, she began working as a model and relocated to New York to pursue opportunities in the fashion industry.
Subsequently, she worked with brands in New York, Los Angeles, and Atlanta, and appeared in publications such as Sports Illustrated and Time Magazine. This stage of her career provided public exposure and professional discipline, but it was not the final direction she would follow.
In 2003, Terani moved back to Los Angeles and established a soccer business. Her focus was on training and technical skills, and she developed a particular expertise in ball control. She launched the TNT Soccer System in 2012, a program aimed at improving soccer technique, and released a video training resource titled Soccer Ball Control with Tasha-Nicole.
She also set European records for speed juggling, with 137 touches in 30 seconds and 269 touches in 60 seconds, both achieved in 2003. These records were established in locations including Atlanta, New York, and Westlake Village, and were sometimes performed in high-profile settings such as The Today Show.

Alongside her sports career, Terani has been active in philanthropy. In September 2009, she founded Every Child’s Dream Foundation 501c3, a non-governmental organization focused on supporting orphaned and abandoned children worldwide. The foundation provides both emotional and financial support. As of 2020, it has delivered care packages to more than 96 countries.
In March 2004, she was appointed United Nations Special Envoy for International Youth Soccer. In this role, her responsibility has been to promote peace through soccer, using the sport as a means of building understanding and cooperation across different cultural and national backgrounds.
In 2024, Terani expanded her professional work into literature, publishing her first children’s book, A Tree for Me. The book has won over 20 awards and has received international attention. Written as a poetic short story, it is designed for young readers and addresses themes of self-love, inclusivity, diversity, environmental care, and empathy.
A Tree for Me is the first volume in what Terani has titled The Nature and Nurture Book Series. This series is planned to explore similar themes, linking personal growth with care for the environment and community.
The progression from modeling to soccer, and from soccer to literature, highlights a pattern of shifting professional focus while building on previous experience. Skills acquired in one field, such as public presentation from modeling, discipline, and technical expertise from sport, have backed Terani’s later goals.
Her nickname, “The Alchemist,” portrays the perception among those close to her that she has been able to transform each career stage into a distinct but connected chapter. Her public roles have also converged in practical ways. The discipline and focus needed to set athletic records were seen in the detailed authorship of a children’s book.
Her professional career timeline reflects the adaptability to move between industries while maintaining consistent thematic interests, including empowerment, personal growth, and global awareness. Whether through sport, literature, or advocacy, her projects have sought to connect with audiences across cultures and age groups.
Terani’s career spans modeling, elite sport, philanthropy, and literature. Her eight Guinness World Records in soccer ball control, her founding of an international children’s charity, and her recognition as an author with an award-winning debut book show a range of achievements uncommon in a single professional life.
